Colour coordinate your world with Setyadi Ongkowidjaja. Sety, as the UK trained architect and interior designer is known by his students and clients, will offer useful pointers and advise at a workshop which covers colour systems, colour schemes and colour psychology.
This is a rare chance to learn about colours, architecture and interior design from an expert. The comprehensive talk will be accompanied by inspirational illustration and a sumptuous coffee break and buffet dinner.
Mr Setyadi Ongkowidjaja (53) was born in Bandung, Indonesia. He obtained his architectural degrees from the Victoria University of Manchester wherere he was awarded runner-up for the Laurie Rossant Prize. He spent eleven years in the UK. Quality residential, resort, school and hotel projects that he has designed can be found in the UK, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and China. Notable projects include the British Council Library in Singapore, the Ranca Bentang Residence and porto-types of houses in the 340ha Dago Pakar Resor in Bandung. A Singapore Permanent Resident since 1987, Ongkowidjaja who is a ballroom dance enthusiast and was a marathon runner, has served on several Southeast Asia's architecture, interior design and landscape design juries, including the prestigious Singapore Young Architect of the Year Award 1994, chaired by Lord Norman Foster
Presently Ongkowidjaja serves as a member of the Publication Sub-committee of the Singapore Institute of Architects and represents the Institute in the International Union of Arhitects (UIA) Work Program on Heritage. He presented a paper at Xian University, China, in September 2010.
